About the Role

At Haleon, we're passionate about improving everyday health for millions of consumers through trusted science and leading brands such as Centrum, Emergen-C, Benefiber, TUMS, and Caltrate.

As a Graduate Intern within the Scientific Affairs team, you'll help bridge scientific evidence, consumer health, and business strategy while supporting initiatives across our Wellness & Digestive Health portfolio. This internship provides a unique opportunity to apply graduate-level nutrition and health sciences training in a corporate environment while working alongside experts in Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Marketing, Safety, and R&D.

You'll learn how scientific evidence supports product innovation, consumer communications, brand strategy, and health outcomes. The role is designed for students who are interested in applying nutrition and health science through a business lens and want exposure to the consumer healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

- Review and synthesize scientific literature to support product innovation, evidence generation, claims development, and scientific communications.
- Analyze nutrition, dietary supplement, and consumer health research to help inform business and scientific strategies.
- Support projects related to wellness and digestive health brands, including evaluating emerging evidence and consumer-relevant health topics.
- Assist with the development of scientific presentations, educational materials, abstracts, and other communication tools.
- Participate in journal clubs, data reviews, and evidence assessment activities while translating scientific findings into business-relevant insights.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Marketing, Legal, Safety, and R&D partners on cross-functional initiatives.
- Monitor scientific, nutrition, and wellness trends to help identify emerging opportunities and insights.
- Present project findings and recommendations to stakeholders at the conclusion of the internship.

Requirements

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's, MPH, PhD, RD/RDN, or similar graduate-level program in Nutrition, Nutritional Sciences, Dietetics, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong interest in nutrition science, consumer health, wellness, and digestive health.
- Ability to critically evaluate and communicate scientific information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated curiosity about how science informs business decisions, innovation, and consumer health solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

- Research experience in nutrition, public health, wellness, dietary supplements, or related scientific disciplines.
- Experience conducting literature reviews, evidence synthesis, or data analysis.
- Prior internship, academic, clinical, or industry experience related to health and wellness.
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential or progress toward registration is a plus.

Eligibility and Program Requirements

- This internship requires working at the designated location. Candidates requiring relocation are responsible for arranging and funding their own housing, transportation, and relocation needs.
- Candidate must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday for 12 weeks during Summer 2027.
- Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship in the future. Work authorization documentation will be required during the application process.
- The position is based in Berkley Heights, NJ and requires an in-office presence Monday-Friday.
- Expected Start Date: June 2027

Compensation

Compensation for this internship is based on Haleon's Early Talent compensation structure.

- Master's Student (Non-Engineering): $28.00/hour
