About this role
The Enterprise Business Architect is responsible for translating enterprise strategy into repeatable EA processes, tools and technologies. The immediate focus will be on building actionable IT investment roadmaps, assessing business capabilities and creating EA models/artifacts that enable data-driven investment decisions. The role bridges business strategy and execution by analyzing current-state operations and designing future-state investment strategies that align business goals, processes, organizational structure and technology. The Business Architect collaborates cross-functionally with executive leadership, business unit stakeholders and EA teams to drive enterprise-wide transformation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in business/enterprise architecture, strategy or management consulting.
- Experience with enterprise architecture tools (i.e. ServiceNow, YouDesign, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of business architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g. TOGAF, BIZBOK).
- Proven experience developing capability models, value stream maps and target operating models.
- Demonstrated ability to assess capabilities, analyze findings and deliver recommendations that drive informed decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills to assess current-state processes and identify inefficiencies, gaps and redundancies.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business strategy into actionable roadmaps and investment priorities.
- Excellent facilitation skills, with experience leading workshops and interviews to gather requirements and build stakeholder consensus.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Enterprise, Solution, Data and Technical Architects.
- Experience establishing governance processes and architecture standards across an enterprise.
- Strong communication and change management skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Business acumen to link capabilities to strategic initiatives and evaluate risks, dependencies and value drivers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in large-scale digital transformation or IT investment planning initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile and portfolio management practices.

This position is a salary grade 7-8 and ranges from $86,600-$166,200.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
