About this role

You will join the Legal Shared Services Team as a transactional lawyer supporting one or more functions aligned to specific Practice Groups and/or a region. You will draft, review, and negotiate key corporate documents with clients (including non-disclosure agreements and non-reliance letters), conduct legal research and analyze laws/regulations/developments, and communicate relevant insights to senior leaders. You will operate within the Legal Department’s Practice Group structure, which is designed to enable timely two-way communication of legal/regulatory changes and business developments with legal or regulatory implications. The role is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at JPMorganChase & Co. (NYSE: JPM), a global financial services firm with operations in more than 60 countries.

Job Responsibilities

- You will draft, review, and negotiate a range of corporate documents with clients, including non-disclosure agreements and non-reliance letters.
- You will conduct legal research and analyze laws, regulations, and developments, and communicate findings to senior leaders.
- You will support special projects as needed across the Legal Shared Services Team.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills.

- Law degree and admission to practice; compliant with all relevant licensing requirements, including those of the jurisdiction where the role is located, prior to employment start.
- 2+ years of corporate law experience in a major law firm and/or financial institution.
- Working knowledge of contract review and legal analysis.
- Excellent English language skills (spoken and written).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Comfort with technology, including willingness to learn and use registration statement software to perform work functions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and coordinate across multiple business and support groups.
- Strong writing, organization, and attention-to-detail skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Litera Workshare Compare.
