Job Summary
Under minimal supervision oversees strategic oversight, administration, and management of operational programs. Leads an operational team of managers by establishing goals, including team expectations and influence of team performance. Ensures programs operation in accordance with client service levels, compliance requirements, and operational efficiency. Works closely with cross functional areas on business initiatives and offering creative solutions to expand services and meet operational objectives.
Essential Functions :
- Leads clinical, financial, operational, strategic and business services. (15%)
- Drives operational initiatives while using visual management to measure change in metrics. (15%)
- Manages contracts and contract relationships with customers/clients and vendors. (10%)
- Responsible for establishing reasonable qualifications for each position and to assure that staff members are competent to perform their duties. (10%)
- Engaged in marketing of services to internal and external clients, customers and stakeholder partners. (10%)
- Directs, monitors and improves clinic processes. (10%)
- Directs financial management of the division. Develops annual operational and capital budgets and ensures that the department operates within prescribed budgetary parameters. Reviews and approves all invoices for equipment, supplies and other resources. Maintains the department charge master including updates on pricing changes and CPT coding. (10%)
- Serves as the division liaison for clients and customers. Working closely to maintain and enhance the relationship with all partners. (10%)
- Responsible for strategic planning, business plan development, pursuit of new opportunities, forecasting and goal setting. (10%)
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Hospital Administration, Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering or Public Administration or a related field required.
- Masters Degree preferred.
Work Experience :
- 7-9 years of administrative or project management experience required.
- Three years of administrative or professional management experience related to planning and development, operational objectives, HR, business forecasting, budget development, financial modeling/forecasting, and marketing required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements.
- Highly skilled in budget preparation/financial analysis, decision making regarding operational metrics, assist with research design planning, and analyzing and generating quality improvement reports.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other internal and external team members to ensure timelines are met.
- Ability to act as a resource to staff for operational and administrative questions.
- Able to effectively recruit, develop, and retain staff.
- Knowledge of personnel management, management of budgets, strategic planning involving collaboration with outside agencies (city and state) or other business entities.
- Ability to communicate and maintain effective relationships with staff, administration, and other departments.
- Knowledge and problem solving process.
- Extraordinary emotional intelligence and quotient, professional communications, interpersonal skills and ability to build genuine trust relationships throughout the organization and beyond.
- Able to lead, manage, advise, mentor, direct and evaluate employees with grace, fairness, and accountability.
- Requires strong organizational skills to set priorities and ability to work with high degree of accuracy and attention to details while responding to tight deadlines and multiple priorities and demands.
- Knowledge, experience, passion, understanding and acumen for Lean, employee engagement initiatives, culture change, data-driven decision-making, and leadership management system.
