What You’ll Do

As a Plant Operator on our Production team, you will operate cutting-edge electrochemical, water treatment, and chemical processing equipment:

- Commission & Launch: Assist in commissioning new production equipment, refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and troubleshooting initial start-up workflows.

- Control & Monitor: Operate process equipment using SCADA / HMI systems ( Ignition ) and direct field instrumentation.

- Core Chemical Processing: Prepare chemical batches (handling acids and bases safely), monitor digestors, brine treatment, filtration systems, evaporators, boilers, crystallizers, and proprietary electrolysers.

- Problem-Solve & Maintain: Perform start-up/shutdown procedures, run controlled trial runs, diagnose equipment or process drift, and champion strict safety and environmental standards.

Location & Shift Schedule

- Location: Tilbury Industrial Area (Delta, BC). Reliable personal transportation is strongly recommended due to shift start/end times.

- Shift Structure: Rotating shift schedule (days, nights, weekends) providing comprehensive plant coverage paired with predictable, scheduled blocks of time off.

What You Bring

- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on operator experience in chemical manufacturing, heavy industrial processing, or water/wastewater treatment.

- Chemical Safety Mindset: Strong baseline safety culture and experience handling acids, bases, and hazardous chemical reagents.

- Technical & SCADA Skills: Direct experience using HMI/SCADA systems (e.g., Ignition) and operating industrial equipment (pumps, valves, filtration, boilers, evaporators, crystallizers).

- Schematics & Analytics: Ability to read Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and follow complex process flow schematics.

- Education: High school diploma with solid foundational math and basic chemistry skills.

- Assets (Bonus Points): Prior experience with electrochemical systems, crystallization, or commissioning new greenfield facilities.
