About this role

Responsibilities

Convert the regional and business-aligned IBP plan into reliable execution for the next zero to six months (0–6 months), while maintaining alignment with the 0–24-month outlook communicated through monthly IBP meetings. Build the planning capability, routines and cross-functional partnerships needed to meet service and inventory objectives and to respond effectively to customer and business needs.

Key accountabilities

- Lead production planning and MRP activities and teams across Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia, supporting manufacturing sites, warehouses, and product support services.

- Translate the monthly 0–24-month IBP plan into executable 0–6-month operating plans, delivering regional customer service and inventory targets.

- Establish and sustain effective supply planning and inventory management processes, standards, tools, and performance metrics.

- Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Partner with Global Supply, Commercial, Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, and other functions to align customer needs, demand, capacity, and supply plans.

- Monitor regional KPIs and lead initiatives to improve service, cost, inventory, and distribution performance.

- Represent Global Supply Chain in regional and global forums; manage the area budget and contribute to forecasting and third-party service provider decisions.

- Ensure compliance with corporate procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and SOX requirements, while modeling Eastman’s safety and wellness expectations.

Qualifications

Experience and qualifications

- At least five years of experience in Supply Chain, planning or a related discipline, including demonstrated experience in production planning and inventory management.

- Experience leading people and projects, improving processes and planning tools, and influencing stakeholders in a matrix organization.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Engineering or business is preferred; an MBA or other master’s degree is an advantage.

- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

- Lean Six Sigma experience or certification is beneficial. APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification is desired.

- Working knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM), Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Power BI, Teams and OneNote is useful.
