As a Salesforce Lightning Developer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable solutions across MMA’s Salesforce platform.

You’ll work closely with Business Analysts, Product Managers, Technical Leads, Architects, QA, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into well-designed Salesforce solutions. The role will focus heavily on Lightning development, platform configuration, integrations, and ongoing enhancement of business processes across Salesforce.

You’ll also help improve development standards, code quality, release readiness, documentation, and overall platform stability as we continue maturing our delivery and DevOps model.

What you’ll be responsible for

- Build and enhance Lightning pages, custom components, workflows, and business automation.
- Develop scalable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Configure and extend Salesforce using Flow, validation rules, custom objects, permission sets, and other platform capabilities.
- Support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
- Participate in solution design, technical reviews, code reviews, and estimation sessions.
- Work closely with BAs and Product Managers to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Support QA, UAT, defect resolution, and production validation.
- Follow source-control, branching, deployment, and release-management standards.
- Help improve unit-test coverage, regression readiness, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support root-cause analysis.
- Identify technical debt and recommend opportunities to simplify or improve existing solutions.
- Collaborate with onshore, offshore, nearshore, and vendor development teams.
- Maintain awareness of Salesforce platform releases and recommend relevant capabilities.

What we’re looking for

- Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Deep experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Strong Apex development skills, including triggers, classes, asynchronous Apex, batch processing, and test classes.
- Experience with SOQL, SOSL, Salesforce data model, and security model.
- Strong understanding of Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, Sharing Rules, and Salesforce access controls.
- Experience with Salesforce Flow and declarative automation.
- Experience building or supporting integrations using APIs.
- Experience with Salesforce DX, source control, and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Flosum, Copado, Gearset, or similar DevOps tools.
- Understanding of enterprise development standards, code review, release management, and SDLC.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in an Agile / sprint-based delivery environment.

Preferred experience

- Experience with Experience Cloud and external portals.
- Experience with complex Salesforce integrations.
- Insurance, brokerage, financial services, or other regulated-industry experience.
- Experience with Salesforce data migrations and large-volume data processing.
- Familiarity with MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
- Experience with Pardot / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement is a plus.
- Experience with CRMA, Tableau, Data Cloud, or Agentforce is a plus.
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks and QA automation is a plus.
