The Opportunity:

Global Product Stewardship (GPS) Beauty Care has an immediate opening for a Scientist Regulatory Manager. This role will provide regulatory leadership for Beauty Care products, initiatives, and technologies, partnering with multifunctional and regional teams to enable innovation while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic and day-to-day regulatory guidance for new Beauty Care initiatives, current business, product changes, claims, labeling, and upstream technologies.
- Guide business and initiative teams in developing clear regulatory strategies, identifying regulatory requirements and risks early, and translating them into practical recommendations.
- Partner with other functions including Product Development, Product Research, Brand to deliver timely GPS assessments and approvals.
- Interpret scientific information across multiple functions in P&G to support sound, compliant decisions.
- Monitor evolving regulations and assess potential impacts on Beauty Care products, ingredients, claims, labeling, registrations, and business plans.
- Lead complex regulatory issues to resolution, escalate business risks appropriately, and communicate recommendations clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of regulatory processes, tools, knowledge management, and organizational capability.

What You Will Build in This Role

- Category-specific knowledge of Beauty Care products, ingredients, technologies, and business needs.
- Deeper mastery of global and regional regulatory requirements affecting product development, claims, labeling, registration, and market access.
- Experience shaping regulatory strategies and leading multidisciplinary teams through complex decisions.
- Broader enterprise perspective through collaboration with multiple functions in P&G.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a life science discipline, such as biology, chemistry, biochemistry, toxicology, pharmacy, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret scientific and technical information and apply it to regulatory or product stewardship decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex requirements clearly and concisely.
- Proven collaboration and relationship-building skills across functions, cultures, regions, and levels.
- Strong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently and influence through expertise.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and drive complex issues to timely resolution.
- Learning agility and motivation to build technical mastery in Beauty Care products and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Available to work full time at P&G’s Mason Business Innovation Center 4 to 5 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Preferred experience with consumer goods product categories, including cosmetics, OTC drugs, and related products.
- Experience leading multifunctional projects or delivering regulatory strategies across markets.
- Knowledge of FDA product registration, claims, labeling, ingredient compliance, or regulatory change management is a plus.
