community consisting of Independent, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing units on the inter coastal waterway in Clearwater Harbor.
Our dedicated staff with years of longevity will welcome candidates with upholding our commitment to caring compassionate service for our residents.

Applicants must have care and compassion for our elderly residents, be highly motivated, and have the ability to multitask. Must be willing to take directions and learn new tasks.
Successful candidates must be extremely dependable, have an aptitude for learning, be detailed oriented, patient, and compassionate for the elderly.

The Oaks of Clearwater is seeking a dependable and experienced Full-Time Closing Cook to join our Dining Services team!
The Closing Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. This position plays an important role in ensuring our residents receive delicious, nutritious meals and excellent dining service.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.
Follow proper food preparation, portioning, and presentation standards.
Ensure meals are prepared and served according to scheduled meal times.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
Monitor food temperatures and maintain appropriate food-handling practices.
Assist with inventory, food storage, labeling, and rotation.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area throughout the shift.
Properly clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and food-preparation areas.
Complete closing duties, including cleaning, sanitizing, storing food properly, and securing the kitchen.
Communicate effectively with Dining Services leadership and team members.
Respond professionally to resident and team member needs.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable health and safety regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous cooking or food-service experience preferred.
Experience in senior living, healthcare, assisted living, or long-term care is a plus.
Ability to follow recipes, menus, portion guidelines, and dietary instructions.
Knowledge of proper food-handling and sanitation practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Ability to stand for extended periods and safely perform the physical duties associated with the position.
