Marketing Coordinator, Picksy
The Marketing Coordinator will support the Picksy marketing team at People Inc. and will support the execution of promotional and cross-functional marketing initiatives. This person will curate compelling, timely product selections to create marketing assets across Picksy’s newsletters, onsite placements, partnership modules, Picksy’s homepage, and more. They will also help coordinate and execute additional marketing projects as priorities evolve.
The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills and a genuine interest in shopping, consumer trends, and emerging products. They can identify products that will resonate with a specific audience and marketing message, while also managing timelines, assets, links, and deliverables across multiple projects.
You’ll work closely with the marketing team, copywriter, designers, and cross-functional partners to ensure product selections support each campaign’s goals and translate into engaging creative. This role will report to the Senior Director.

Assignment Responsibilities:
- Curate and merchandise products for assets for Picksy newsletters and emails across categories including fashion, home, food, travel, parenting, gifting, and more
- Build and merchandise Picksy collections that support promotional messaging across email and social channels
- Curate and merchandise products for partnership placements and flexible promotional modules
- Select products for onsite placements and merchandising experiences across Picksy.com, based on seasonality, trends, audience interest, and shopping moments
- Recommend new merchandising opportunities based on emerging trends, cultural moments, and consumer behavior/data
- Ensure all product selections are current, in stock, and visually compelling
- Source, organize, and maintain Picksy’s library of merchandised products and approved product imagery
- Support the coordination of Picksy giveaways across social and onsite, including prize fulfillment and partner outreach
- Work in lockstep with copywriter and designers to ensure product selections, messaging, and creative work together effectively
- Manage multiple merchandising requests and deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Support additional merchandising and marketing projects as needed, including our college ambassador program and more
About Picksy:
Picksy is a new product that helps shoppers save, track, and organize items they want to buy, all in one place. Users can save products from anywhere, organize and share collections, get deal alerts, and instantly save any item they want to come back to later with a text.
Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1-2 years of experience in commerce, editorial merchandising, e-commerce, retail, affiliate commerce, or a related field
- Proven experience curating product assortments for digital content, email, e-commerce, editorial shopping, or marketing campaigns
- Experience merchandising products across multiple consumer categories
- Strong knowledge of online retailers and shopping trends
- Experience working with Airtable, or similar organizational tools, is a plus
- Excellent taste and strong editorial judgment, with the ability to identify products that are timely, useful, visually compelling, and relevant to a defined audience
- Deep familiarity with shopping trends and popular products across consumer categories
- Ability to build balanced assortments across price points, retailers, brands, categories, and audiences
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing product links, pricing, availability, imagery, and other product information
- Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities; able to organize, multitask, and manage multiple deadlines
- A proactive, highly collaborative self-starter who is comfortable partnering across teams
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, startup-style environment with shifting priorities
- Able to balance trend-driven ideas with evergreen, practical product recommendations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
