Description
The Publication and Documentation Lead serves as project manager for publication of examinations as well as candidate and credential holder support documentation. Ensures current documented policies and processes are kept up-to-date and are reviewed by pertinent ISA credentialing staff on an ongoing basis and is responsible for drafting and proper documentation of new processes when needed.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Process Documentation, Quality Assurance, and Continuous Improvement
• Understands ISA’s Vision Statement and adheres to ISA staff core values.
• Drafts and reviews ISA processes to ensure consistent service to the customers.
• Monitors process documentation upkeep.
• Drafts and manages the documentation of departmental processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and sustainability in service delivery.
• Ensures compliance with internal and external audits regarding process documentation and upkeep.
• Ensures continual improvement and process review and updating working with ISA staff.
2. Examination Publication and Marketing Materials
• Ensures publication of examinations and corresponding updated candidate/credential holder support and marketing materials following agreed upon deadlines and quality/requirement standards.
• Monitors exam and marketing materials publication schedules.
• Writes and reviews marketing content and documentation specific to ISA Credentialing applicants, candidates, and credential holders.
• Collaborates with ISA Marketing and Events team members for the publication of both print and digital media specific to ISA Credentialing.
3. Project Management and Stakeholder Coordination
• Communicates project milestones and deadlines to ISA staff and pertinent stakeholders and vendors.
• Coordination and review of collateral design and other front-facing documentation through contractors and third-party vendors (e.g., editors, marketing firms) to meet service level agreements.
• As requested, assist department managers and the Director of Credentialing Services with other projects and project management needs.
4. Research, Data Analysis, and Records Management
• Assists in the creation, collection, and analysis of survey data.
• Works with ISA Credentialing Managers to implement ISA’s record retention policies for the Department.
5. Procurement and Administrative Support
• Fulfillment supply ordering and procurement.

Education and/or Experience
• JD or Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, business administration, journalism, publication, or similar field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• 2+ years of writing and publication experience.
• Experience with processing documentation and compliance is a plus.
• Experience working with non-profit, member-based, or credentialing body is a plus.
Language Skills
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
• Ability to write and speak in a professional manner.
• Ability to write correspondence in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Ability to resolve and mitigate conflict.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to department, vendors, and stakeholders.
Decision Making/Reasoning Ability
• Needs strong demonstrated skills in project management, problem solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work and lead ISA staff, vendors, and volunteers toward a common goal and work within agreed deadlines.
• Needs strong listening and summarizing/documentation skills.
Additional Competencies
• Ability to quickly learn to use new software, technologies, and procedures.
• Ability to understand and convey a technical process/procedure to a lay audience through verbal and written communication means.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time.
• Moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.

• The employee is required to lift exam boxes up to 30 pounds and move them between levels to and from the shipping department.
