About this role

Full-time | London

We’re Studio B: a fast-moving, creative production company making ambitious content for millions of people across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and beyond. We’re looking for a brilliant mid-level Video Editor who lives and breathes social media, moves quickly and never compromises on the quality of the final cut.

This is a role for a true digital native: someone who instinctively understands what makes people stop scrolling, keep watching and share. You’ll bring ideas, energy and personality to every edit - whether it’s a punchy short-form video or a compelling YouTube format.

About the role

You’ll turn raw footage into standout, social-first content with pace, humour, storytelling and polish. You’ll be comfortable working in a high-output environment, responding rapidly to feedback and switching between projects without losing your creative edge or attention to detail. We want an editor who doesn’t just follow a brief - they make the work better.

What you’ll do

- Edit platform-native short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social channels, with strong hooks, tight pacing and brilliant payoffs.
- Craft engaging long-form YouTube videos, including challenges, gameshow-style formats, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, vlogs, sketches and creator-led entertainment.
- Own edits from rough cut through final delivery, shaping narrative, comedy, rhythm, music, sound design, captions and finishing details.
- Work at speed on quick-turnaround briefs, managing competing deadlines while keeping every output sharp, accurate and on brand.
- Collaborate closely with creatives, producers, VFX artists and fellow editors; contribute ideas in brainstorms and offer creative solutions, not just technical execution.
- Use audience behaviour, emerging formats and evolving platform trends to push our content forward - proactively suggest stronger hooks, cuts and storytelling approaches.
- Take feedback constructively, iterate quickly and maintain exceptionally high standards of creative and technical quality.
- Create cut-downs, trailers, teasers, tutorials, breakdowns and social-first branded content as projects require.

What we’re looking for

- A genuine digital native. Social media is part of your everyday world; you know the creators, formats, memes, trends and editing styles that make content resonate.
- A strong social-first portfolio showing original creative judgement, excellent pacing, storytelling and edits that hold attention. Examples of both short-form and long-form work are highly valued.
- Experience editing fast-paced social and digital content, with the confidence to take ownership of multiple edits and deliver quickly.
- High creative standards and exceptional attention to detail - from the first to the last frame, every choice matters.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve; After Effects experience is a strong bonus.
- Confidence with sound design, music selection, timing, basic colour finishing and platform-appropriate graphics or captions.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset: curious, resourceful, receptive to feedback and willing to challenge an edit to make it stronger.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise, adapt and stay calm when deadlines move.

You’ll thrive here if…

You’re obsessed with making content people actually want to watch. You love the energy of a fast-paced creative environment, enjoy experimenting and can turn around great work quickly. You’re ambitious about your craft, bring solutions rather than problems, and take real pride in the quality of what you deliver.

Why Studio B?

- Creative freedom to bring your own ideas, humour and editing style into the work.
- A collaborative, energetic team making inventive content across a wide range of formats.
- Opportunities to develop your skills and work on exciting projects with major brands and creators.
