Job Title:

Lead, HR Business Partner

Job Description:

The Role

In this role you will bring advanced, wide-ranging HRBP experience as you resolve complex workforce and organizational issues and influence stakeholders beyond your immediate area. You will partner with leaders to deliver HR solutions across recruiting, employee relations, compensation and benefits, talent development, and HR operations—leveraging subject matter experts as needed. This role will initially focus on supporting the Reno, NV site, with the expectation that responsibilities may expand over time to additional sites/client groups across the division.

What You’ll Do

- Translate strategic and tactical business plans into HR actions, programs and initiatives.
- Support Reno, NV employees and leadership as the primary initial focus while building deep knowledge of the business, site operations, company policies, and division priorities to enable consistent HR support across additional sites/client groups as responsibilities expand.
- Coach senior leaders on leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, and complex performance/ER matters.
- Ensure HR practices, decisions, and employee relations activities are administered in alignment with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, partnering with Legal and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) as appropriate.
- Act as a change catalyst: design and drive org development, structure, and change management solutions.
- Drive cultural transformation initiatives that strengthen leadership alignment, employee engagement, accountability, and sustainable ways of working.
- Provide direct HR support to leaders and employees across areas such as recruiting, onboarding, training and development, leaves of absence, performance management, timekeeping, and compensation.
- Oversee and execute HR operational and administrative activities for assigned client groups and the division as needed, including documentation, reporting, process coordination, HR system updates, issue resolution, and other activities that support effective HR service delivery.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to launch and embed enterprise programs including performance, rewards, learning, and inclusion initiatives.
- Use advanced analytics to diagnose issues, evaluate tradeoffs, and recommend high-impact solutions.
- Leverage AI tools and digital solutions to streamline HR processes, improve efficiency, strengthen insights, and enhance day-to-day execution.
- Operate effectively in a highly matrixed organization, balancing priorities across site, division, functional, and enterprise stakeholders.
- Build influence across functions and geographies to mobilize stakeholders and deliver business outcomes.
- Mentor and upskill others across HR through guidance, tools, and best-practice sharing.

What We Seek

- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field and 8+ years of related experience.
- Experience partnering with leaders and employees to deliver HR solutions across key areas (talent acquisition, employee relations, performance/talent processes, rewards, and HR operations).
- Experience working within an HR service delivery model, partnering with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), shared services, and business-facing HR teams to deliver consistent and scalable solutions.
- Demonstrated experience supporting cultural transformation, change adoption, and organizational effectiveness initiatives in partnership with site and business leaders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate workforce data and business insights into clear recommendations.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR compliance practices, with the ability to apply sound judgment in partnership with HR, Legal, and business leaders.
- Comfort leveraging AI-enabled tools, HR systems, and digital resources to improve productivity, simplify workflows, and support data-informed decision-making.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to evolving priorities, and manage job tasks that may shift as business and division needs change.
- HR certification (SHRM or HRCI) and experience operating in a manufacturing and/or global matrix environment are preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships, communicate transparently, and model sound judgment, accountability, and ethical decision-making.
- Ability to work on site at least 4 days per week.
