We are seeking a talented Software Developer in Montreal, QC to be part of the development of our cutting-edge visual programming tool for machine vision inspections.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance software that directly controls and integrates with advanced hardware. You will utilize a modern tech stack featuring a React-based web frontend and a robust C# .NET backend. This system integrates software and hardware components to maintain consistent execution and optimal throughput.

This is a hybrid position and requires the incumbent to work onsite at least 3 days at our Saint-Laurent location in Montreal, QC.

- Rechercher de nouveaux outils pour analyser et résoudre les problèmes.
- Faire preuve de jugement dans le cadre des procédures et des pratiques définies pour déterminer les mesures appropriées.

- Assurer, au besoin, un rôle d'encadrement auprès du personnel non-cadre.

- Designs, develops, and tests on a variety of software assignments that constitute a portion of a larger project.
- Develops and tests documentation which describes specific software functionality.
- Participates in and provides input during project code reviews.
- Runs software tests designed by more experienced developers.
- Reviews test results and performs root-cause analyses to identify problems.
- Provides recommendations and implements solutions to complex issues. Ensures compliance with quality processes and standards.
- Makes changes to or upgrades existing software. Enhances and improves existing technologies to apply to new solutions.
- Makes and implements recommendations to the immediate team to enhance performance and improve productivity.
- Seeks out new tools to analyze and solve problems.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Receives general instructions on routine work, new projects, or assignments.
- May provide guidance to non-exempt personnel.
- Builds productive working relationships internally and externally.
- Maintains primarily intra-organizational contacts, with occasional inter-organizational and external customer contacts on routine matters.

Qualifications minimales :

- Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en informatique, en génie logiciel ou dans un domaine connexe avec plus de 2 ans d'expérience.
- Expérience dans le développement de systèmes logiciels backend en utilisant C# .NET.
- Expérience dans le développement frontend basé sur React (un atout).
- Capacité à communiquer couramment en français et en anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of experience.
- Experience in developing backend software systems using C# .NET.
- Experience with React-based frontend development is a plus.
- Ability to communicate fluently in French and English, both verbally and in writing.

Pay Range:
$82,000.00 - $123,000.00 Annual

Incentive Compensation:
In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 10% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
