Summary:

The Business Development Operations Manager provides administrative support for Contexture’s Business Development, Operations, and Engagement Department. This position works across multiple business applications to streamline and expedite functions.  This position requires collaboration across multiple departments within the organization and effective execution of key business functions.

This position is based in Phoenix Arizona; Denver Colorado; or Grand Junction, Colorado and requires local residency in one of these base locations. Our strategic flexibility allows for local work from home opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

- Tracks sales and program data, provide reporting to support forecasting and performance.

- Owns the development and ongoing maintenance of Salesforce reports and dashboards that provide visibility into Business Development, Development and Operations performance, programs and key metrics at the department, regional, and individual staff levels.

- Obtains data to track and promote targeted outreach, engagement, and sales reports.

- Provides administrative support for data entry into applicable business applications.

- Responds to external inquiries received by general inboxes and voicemail.

- Assist as needed in sales and contracting processes; including development of outreach documents, and presentation materials In collaboration with Marketing, manages exhibits at industry conferences and events, including all conference deadlines, registrations, schedules, staffing, budget, prep meetings, supply management, giveaways, and post-conference communications with attendees.

- Coordinates with Marketing in advance on materials to print for each conference, messaging, and any themes for the conference.

- Research logistics of new conference opportunities as they come up or upon request; primary contact for coordination of events/conferences/presentations

- Manages Contexture's corporate business development/growth memberships and collaborates with relevant internal teams to support organizational engagement and participation.

- In collaboration with Business Development leadership, creates, manages, and maintains departmental SOPs, Sales Force desktops, new staff onboarding and training materials, and supporting collateral to ensure Business Development staff have the resources, guidance, and tools necessary to effectively perform their roles.

- Creates Visio charts to document and improve process flow and inter-departmental handoff documentation.

- Gathers needed information from internal teams and responds to general inquiries.

- Assists with various operational and administrative tasks and related duties as assigned.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills

- Experience with E.H.R. software systems a plus.

- Understanding of the HIE landscape, including functionality, technology (HIT) and policy.

- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

- Experience and comfort working with Senior Level executives.

Education/Experience

- Minimum of 3+ years of consultative sales or consulting experience with payers and life insurance groups; preferably in healthcare IT or with a clinical background.

- Bachelor's Degree required in Business, Healthcare Management, Information Systems or a related field; equivalent directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

- Strong Microsoft product experience (Excel and Visio)

Work Environment

The position may  require occasional availability for after-hours work, outside of regularly scheduled hours.

The position may require ability to periodically drive to and from clients, conferences and / or events; and / or limited travel.

This position is expected to be exposed to, process, or handle sensitive information including but not limited to Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), financial information, etc. As such, the holder of this position is expected to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, organizational policies, and compliance expectations.

Physical Demands

- Frequent communication and information exchange.

- Regular movement within the office to access equipment and materials.

- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods (approximately 50% of the time).

- Continuous use of computers and office equipment (e.g., keyboard, monitor, printer).

- Frequent handling of materials up to 10 lbs; occasional handling up to 30 lbs.
