The Development Associate I plays a key role in supporting Franciscan Health Foundation's fundraising efforts by coordinating donor engagement, annual giving activities, events, and stewardship. This position manages a small donor portfolio, executes annual fund campaigns and events, and assists with communication and database updates following established protocols. In addition to these responsibilities, the Development Associate serves as a representative of the Foundation both within the organization and in the broader community, attending civic and service group meetings, assisting with volunteer coordination, and participating in internal presentations such as new employee orientation.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

- Annual Fund & Employee Giving
- Event planning and execution
- Donor stewardship (notes, calls, giving clubs)
- Communications support (e.g., approved email newsletters, direct response efforts)
- Community & Internal Engagement (civic groups, volunteers, orientation)
- Personal portfolio management
- Database management (updates, tracking via existing reports/dashboards)

QUALIFICATIONS

- Required Associate's Degree Marketing/communications, fundraising, non-profit management, or related field
- Required 1 year Fundraising, Communications, and/or Public Relations Required
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree Marketing/communications, fundraising, non-profit management, or related field
