How you’ll make an impact in this role

- Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

- Required Credential(s): Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program credentialed from the S.T.A.B.L.E. Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Licensed Compact State Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- One or more of the following: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

- Preferred Credential(s): Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
