The Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy & Business Intelligence will serve as a strategic analytics leader supporting the Electrophysiology and Cardiac Imaging & Structural Heart businesses. This individual will lead the development and execution of high-impact, cross-functional commercial initiatives that turn data into better decisions, stronger performance, and measurable business outcomes. The role will lead a team that partners closely with the commercial organization to advance strategic priorities through analytics, reporting, competitive intelligence, and compelling executive-level insights.

This leader will build and scale a centralized Business Intelligence capability that integrates market benchmarks, competitive intelligence, commercial systems, and advanced analytics. Working across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Capital & Service, Sales Enablement, Human Resources, and Information Technology, the Senior Manager will establish sustainable frameworks, monitor internal and external signals, and convert findings into clear, actionable recommendati

ons.

Success in this role requires an expert storyteller who can uncover the business narrative behind the numbers, simplify complexity, and connect insights to strategic choices. The Senior Manager is expected to find innovative ways to use data, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to generate meaningful insights that leaders can act on. Presenting findings, implications, and recommendations to senior leadership is a critical and highly visible responsibility of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set the BI strategy: Define and execute a Business Intelligence roadmap aligned with commercial priorities, enterprise strategy, and measurable business outcomes.
- Tell stories from the numbers: Synthesize complex data into compelling narratives that clearly explain what happened, why it matters, what may happen next, and what action leaders should take.
- Advise senior leadership: Present findings, implications, and recommendations to senior executives with clarity, confidence, and executive presence; anticipate questions and influence decisions through evidence-based points of view.
- Innovate with data: Identify new and creative ways to combine internal, external, structured, and unstructured data to reveal opportunities, risks, market signals, customer needs, and performance drivers.
- Drive actionable insights: Move beyond reporting to develop recommendations with clear owners, priorities, expected business impact, and measures of success.
- Lead cross-functionally: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Capital & Service, Sales Enablement, Human Resources, and Information Technology to frame critical business questions and deliver the highest-value analytics initiatives.
- Build scalable solutions: Translate ideas into well-defined projects and deliver sustainable, user-centered dashboards, data products, and self-service analytics on time and with measurable value.
- Strengthen competitive intelligence: Establish repeatable methods to monitor market benchmarks, competitive performance, and emerging trends, then translate those signals into viable commercial actions.
- Develop talent: Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of analysts while fostering curiosity, accountability, business acumen, and strong communication skills.
- Ensure operational excellence: Maintain trusted data, disciplined governance, scalable analytics, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement across BI processes and platforms.

Qualifications

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Data Science, or related) preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

- 7+ years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, commercial operations, sales operations, data analytics, or a related discipline, including 3+ years in a people-leadership role; healthcare, MedTech, commercial, or engineering experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in data storytelling, with a record of transforming complex analyses into concise, persuasive narratives and actionable recommendations for executive audiences.
- Proven experience presenting high-stakes findings and recommendations to senior leadership and influencing strategic decisions through data.
- Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to move fluidly between detailed analysis and enterprise-level implications.
- A curious, innovative mindset and demonstrated ability to discover new uses for data, analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, and large language models to improve decision quality and business performance.
- Experience gathering and synthesizing competitive intelligence and converting market signals into practical actions.
- Expertise with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, along with data warehouses and data management platforms.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, database management, data governance, visualization best practices, and trends in advanced analytics.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, and the ability to create polished, executive-ready deliverables.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable operating with ambiguity; able to align stakeholders and influence outcomes without direct authority.
- Strong people leadership capabilities with a record of building teams, developing talent, and creating a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Travel required up to 30%
- Preferred: Experience with Python, SAP, Maximo, SaaS

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
