Employment Type: Full-Time, 10-Month Contract, 2026-2027 School Year

Davidson Charter Academy is seeking a passionate and qualified Elementary Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, a commitment to student success, and the ability to create engaging, effective lesson plans that align with state standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.

- Valid North Carolina Educator’s License or eligibility to obtain one.

- Teaching experience working with elementary students.

- Strong classroom management skills.

- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and the school community.

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.

- Commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards.

Salary & Benefits * Prorated based on start date

- Salary based on the NC Certified Teacher Salary Schedule, years of experience, and licensure status

- A possible 3% local supplement

- Up to 6% Employer 403(b) Contribution Match

- 10 PTO days per year (unused PTO rolls over until maximum accrual is reached)

Employment Terms

All teachers at Davidson Charter Academy are on one-year contracts. Contract renewal is contingent upon successful performance, completion of duties and expectations, and available funding.
