Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Head of Office Principal Delivery to lead a high-performing business delivering workplace transformation projects across Spain. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced professional who combines commercial acumen, operational excellence, and inspirational people leadership.
As Head of Office Principal Delivery, you will be responsible for a high fee-revenue business , leading an exceptional team and overseeing the successful delivery of office fit-out projects, predominantly under a Design & Build model .
Key objectives:
- Lead and grow a nationally recognised office fit-out delivery business across Spain.
- Drive business development and identify opportunities to expand client relationships and win new projects.
- Provide leadership and direction to a well-established team of senior professionals and project delivery experts.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and growth.
- Oversee project delivery performance, profitability, client satisfaction, and operational excellence.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key requirements of the role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for business strategy, identifying opportunities, technical management and the delivery of turnkey projects in this sector, ensuring operational excellence from the preliminary design phase through to the final handover of ‘fit-out’ projects in industrial units and logistics complexes.
This role combines client management with technical supervision, acting as the key link between the client’s needs and efficient on-site execution.
You will be a strategic and entrepreneurial leader, driven by the ambition to position Turner & Townsend as the leading project management consultancy for office fit-out projects in Spain. Combining a strong commercial mindset with operational excellence, you will be responsible for driving sustainable growth, strengthening market presence, and expanding client relationships within the office fit-out sector, particularly in Design & Build environments.
Working within a global organisation, you will balance local market leadership with Turner & Townsend's broader international objectives, ensuring the business continues to deliver exceptional client outcomes, attract top talent, and maintain its reputation as the partner of choice for the most complex and high-profile workplace projects across Spain.
Qualifications
✅ 10+ years of experience delivering office fit-out projects, ideally within a Design & Build environment.
✅ Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing large-scale project delivery operations.
✅ Strong business development mindset, with a demonstrated ability to create opportunities, develop relationships, and win work.
✅ Exceptional leadership skills, enabling teams to perform at their best while preserving and enhancing an established high-performance culture.
✅ Full professional fluency in English and Spanish .
✅ Degree in Architecture, Technical Architecture, Building Engineering or a related construction discipline
✅ Proficiency with industry-standard tools, including:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- MS Project
- Autodesk products and related design/construction technologies
