Job Summary

As a Caregiver with Amada Senior Care, you will provide non-medical, in-home assistance and companionship to seniors and veterans. You will help clients with daily living activities while promoting their safety, dignity, comfort, and independence.

Responsibilities

- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients

- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, showering, toileting, dressing, and grooming

- Remind clients to take prescribed medications

- Assist with mobility around the home and during outings, including walks and medical appointments

- Plan and prepare meals according to client needs

- Complete grocery shopping and other errands or accompany clients as needed

- Perform basic housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment

- Observe and report unusual incidents or changes in a client's condition

- Respond promptly and responsibly in emergencies

- Assist clients with activities essential to daily living

- Encourage independence and maintain a respectful, supportive care environment

Qualifications

- At least two years of experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment

- Valid driver's license

- Valid auto insurance

- Reliable transportation

- Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening

- Willingness and ability to travel within a 25-mile radius of your home address

- Willingness to work with both male and female clients

- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

- Compassionate, supportive, dependable, and professional attitude

- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others
