About this role

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and process documentation
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment interfaces
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and reliable attendance
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in forging operations (ring rolling, open-die, or closed-die forging)
- Familiarity with heat treating processes (quenching, tempering, annealing)
- Experience working within AS9100 or other regulated quality systems
- Experience with CNC or PLC-controlled equipment
- Overhead crane and/or forklift certification

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position is based in a heavy manufacturing environment and requires:

- Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs. or more
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion
- Comfort working in high-temperature, high-noise environments
- Working safely around heavy machinery and moving equipment
- Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Shift work, overtime, and weekend hours required

Salary Range: $20-25 /hour depending on experience
