About this role
Join Ecolab's Corporate Logistics team in Buenos Aires as an Associate Logistics Manager supporting the North America Logistics Control Tower . This role provides daily operational leadership and strategic direction for the expedited service offering, partners closely with Commercial and Supply Chain teams to execute time-sensitive shipments, and serves as an integral member of the Control Tower leadership team.
The individual in this role will lead and develop the Expedite team, manage operational performance and escalations, and strengthen the processes, tools, and stakeholder routines required to deliver safe, reliable, and responsive service. The ideal candidate is a self-directed people leader who can make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively across the organization, and build scalable team practices that support the continued evolution of the Control Tower operating model.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the daily operations of the expedited service offering, ensuring time-sensitive shipments are planned, executed, monitored, and resolved with urgency
- Lead, coach, and develop the team through clear expectations, regular feedback, performance management, and individual development planning
- Partner closely with Commercial, Customer Service, Planning, Warehousing, and Transportation stakeholders to align shipment priorities and service requirements
- Serve as the primary leadership escalation point for critical expedited shipments, balancing customer needs, operational feasibility, safety, service, and cost
- Develop and maintain a high-performing expedited service offering with clear operating standards, service expectations, escalation paths, and stakeholder communications
- Drive accountability through data-driven performance reviews, root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and follow-through on recurring service failures
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for expedited transportation, including on-time performance, response time, execution quality, cost, and exception trends
- Identify opportunities to reduce avoidable expedites through cross-functional problem solving, process improvement, and improved visibility to failure drivers
- Build strong partnerships with North America business stakeholders and communicate risks, decisions, and recovery plans clearly and proactively
- Standardize work, documentation, and team routines to improve consistency, resilience, knowledge sharing, and continuity of service
- Support technology, analytics, and automation initiatives that improve expedited shipment visibility, prioritization, communication, and decision making
- Develop scalable leadership and people-development practices

- Participate as an active member of the Control Tower leadership team, contributing to strategy, talent development, operational priorities, and change management

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, customer service operations, warehousing, or a related field
- 1+ years of people leadership or transportation management experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop employees in a fast-paced, service-focused environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to effectively partner cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization
- Ability to prioritize competing demands, make timely decisions, and lead through high-urgency operational situations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with root cause analysis and corrective action planning
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time (Preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Transportation, or a related field
- Experience leading expedited transportation, critical shipment, Control Tower, or exception-management operations
- Experience supporting North America transportation or supply chain operations
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Project management and change management experience
- Experience using transportation management systems, SAP, reporting tools, or workflow automation
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance service, cost, safety, and customer impact
