Endodontic Procedures & Responsibilities
This opportunity is designed for a General Dentist who has experience performing root canal treatments and wants to build an endodontic-focused practice.
Clinical responsibilities may include:
- Anterior root canal therapy
- Premolar root canal treatment
- Molar root canal therapy
- Endodontic examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Emergency root canal treatment
- Pulpotomies and pulpectomies
- Diagnosis and management of dental pain and endodontic emergencies
- Core buildups following endodontic treatment
- Evaluation and referral of complex endodontic cases requiring specialist care
- Collaboration with Endodontists and other dental specialists when appropriate
Patient scheduling will be structured to support efficient workflows while allowing sufficient time to deliver high-quality endodontic care.
All treatment is performed within the dentist's training, competency, and the scope of general dentistry permitted under California law.

Schedule:

General Dentist Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active California dental license or ability to obtain one before employment
- Current DEA registration, CPR certification, and NPI
- Demonstrated clinical experience and confidence performing root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures
- Strong endodontic diagnosis and treatment planning skills
- Commitment to evidence-based dentistry and high-quality patient care
- Excellent communication and patient relationship skills
- Interest in developing and maintaining an endodontic-focused general dentistry practice
Advanced endodontic experience is preferred for this position. An endodontic specialty residency is not required.
