Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring Dairy Processing Operator based in Casa Grande, Arizona.

The Dairy Processing Operato r is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining processing equipment used to produce high-quality yogurt in compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This position supports all phase of the production process, including ingredient handling, pasteurization, batching, processing, documentation sanitation, and equipment operation.

One full-time opportunity 12-hour shift – 06:00 AM – 06:30 AM on a 2 – 2 – 3 rotation.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

- Operate and monitor dairy processing systems, including pasteurizers, separators, homogenizers, blending equipment, storage tanks, and transfer systems.
- Follow production schedules, formulas, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate and efficient product manufacturing.
- Monitor critical process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow rates, and batch specifications.
- Complete production records, quality checks, and required documentation accurately and timely.
- Perform product sampling and support quality assurance activities.
- Execute cleaning and sanitation procedures, including Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment and process issues and communicate concerns to supervisors and maintenance personnel.
- Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP requirements, food safety standards, and workplace safety policies.
- Participate in product changeovers, start-ups, shutdowns, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to understand and follow written procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Basic math, computer, and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and food safety.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in dairy manufacturing or food processing operations.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience operating automated processing equipment and computerized production systems.

Skills / Abilities / Knowledge

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, climb, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in manufacturing environments with varying temperatures, moisture, noise, and exposure to cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
