Proposal Coordinator
The Opportunity:
The proposal process is the backbone of government consulting. As a proposal professional, you know the organization’s ability to win contracts is largely based on your efforts. We need a proposal expert like you to use your contract management, communication, and strategic planning expertise in our proposal development process, where you’ll make highly visible impact.

On our industry-leading team, you’ll share your skills as you lead a team in the development of compliant, on-time, award-winning proposals, Statement of Work (SOWs), Task Orders (TOs), and white papers. You’ll oversee the management of proposal components, including all stages of proposal development, coordination, timeline tracking, facilitating reviews, and supporting compliance efforts.

This includes finalizing, formatting, and preparing high-quality business proposals and related documentation to ensure compliance, brand consistency, and submission-readiness. You’ll operate in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and utilize your strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and advanced technical proficiency.

You Have:

- 8+ years of experience with formatting, layout, and assembly of proposal submission packages using advanced tools such as Word, PowerPoint, or Adobe
- 5+ years of experience with desktop publishing, placement and integration charts or figures, and preparation of "submission-ready" electronic or print deliverables
- Experience with editing, proofreading, grammar, style, and document layout
- Experience utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) tools and technologies to support proposal content development, ensuring compliance with requirements and effective formatting
- Ability to leverage current AI solutions to streamline proposal creation, enhance accuracy, and maintain consistency in document structure
- HS diploma or GED and 20+ years of experience working in a professional environment, Associate’s degree and 12+ years of experience working in a professional environment, Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience working in a professional environment, or Master’s degree and 8+ years of experience working in a professional environment
- APMP Proposal Management Certification

- Experience collaborating with writers, subject matter experts, and production staff
- Experience with document management systems and electronic submission platforms
- Experience with Proposal Management and Compliance Auditing
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Ability to demonstrate a visual sense for layout, composition, and storytelling in compliant documents
- Ability to demonstrate a proactive, self-directed, and highly professional approach to work
- Possession of excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Possession of excellent time management skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
