As our Health Information Management (HIM) Manager, you will oversee daily HIM operations across assigned facilities, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant health information processes. You will lead staff, manage productivity and quality, and support key HIM functions including documentation integrity, deficiency management, release of information, amendment requests, and medical records operations. This role is ideal for a proactive, solutions-oriented leader who can improve workflows, leverage technology, and support multiple sites effectively.

Here’s what you will experience working as a Health Information Management Manager:

- Lead and support HIM staff through hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and daily operations
- Oversee day-to-day HIM functions across assigned facilities, including medical records, release of information, and amendment requests
- Drive consistency in HIM tools, processes, and best practices across sites
- Partner with leadership, physicians, and medical staff to address documentation gaps and improve record completion
- Monitor KPIs and help resolve documentation issues affecting coding, billing, or record completion
- Prepare and share performance reports, site visit updates, and operational statuses with leadership
- Support regulatory reviews, accreditation readiness, and compliance with HIM standards
- Travel between assigned facilities to provide onsite support and maintain strong relationships

Required Skills:

- Minimum of 4 years of HIM experience, including at least 2 years in a management role
- RHIA or RHIT certification required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
- Proven problem-solving skills with a proactive, collaborative approach
- Ability to travel between assigned sites

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $69,671.00 - $125,525.92 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
