We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to join our Finance team as a Manager of Corporate Finance- Investor Relations

Responsibilities:

- Lead debt financing, capital raising, refinancing, and financial modeling initiatives to support business growth, acquisitions, and capital investments while optimizing the company's capital structure and financing costs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, lenders, and financial institutions. Lead financing negotiations, prepare investor presentations and lender reports, and identify new funding opportunities.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, working capital management, debt servicing, and banking operations to ensure optimal utilization of financial resources.
- Develop tax-efficient financing and corporate structuring strategies in Canada and the United States, working with internal teams and external advisors to identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure compliance.
- Monitor financial performance, debt covenants, financing agreements, and regulatory requirements while coordinating with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and effective financial controls.
- Partner with senior management to evaluate investments, manage financial risks, optimize borrowing costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support long-term business expansion.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in corporate finance, investor relations, banking, treasury, or tax planning.
- Strong knowledge of debt financing, capital structures, financial modeling, cash flow management, and banking relationships.
- Understanding of Canadian and U.S. corporate tax planning and financial compliance.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- CPA, CFA, MBA, CBV, or relevant professional designation is an asset.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or other asset-intensive industries is preferred.
