Job Description:

The Healthcare Business Development Supervisor is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships within the healthcare market while supporting business growth and customer success initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare organizations, providers, and business partners.
- Identifying new business opportunities and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that address customer needs.
- Managing projects and processes with moderate risk and complexity.
- Prioritizing activities and coordinating efforts to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Providing guidance and support to team members with less experience.
- Serving as a subject matter resource for healthcare-related business initiatives.
- Analyzing customer needs and proposing solutions that support operational and business goals.
- Solving complex problems through industry knowledge, critical thinking, and collaboration.
- Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals when appropriate.
- Supporting customer retention, satisfaction, and long-term relationship development.
- Influencing stakeholders through healthcare market knowledge, business acumen, and effective communication.
- Contributing to the achievement of customer, operational, project, service, and revenue objectives.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong relationship-building, communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills while operating in a dynamic healthcare environment focused on improving customer outcomes and business performance.

Job Family Description:

Builds and maintains relationships with healthcare providers, physician groups, hospitals, clinics, healthcare networks, and other healthcare-related customers within the small to medium-sized business (SMB) segment. Identifies, develops, and typically closes new business opportunities. Creates demand for the organization's healthcare solutions and services by increasing awareness and demonstrating value to customers. Achieves revenue and growth objectives by expanding existing relationships and generating new business opportunities.

Career Track Description:
Provides specific healthcare industry, business development, or subject matter expertise. Primary focus is individual expertise and customer engagement. Skills are typically acquired through university education and experience within healthcare, sales, account management, business development, or a related field. May lead others in the capacity of a "player-coach," typically supporting smaller teams or projects.

Career Level Description:
May lead projects or processes with moderate risk and/or complexity and may lead small teams. Prioritizes tasks within the team while collaborating and coordinating with internal stakeholders, healthcare customers, and business partners.

Provides guidance to team members with less experience or knowledge. Solves problems that are difficult and sometimes complex. Uses healthcare, business development, and industry knowledge to influence others. May coach and review the work of lower-level professionals and acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project, service, and growth objectives. Work is guided by team and departmental goals while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction, relationship management, and business development within the healthcare market.
