Job Description
Job Summary
Visa's Crypto Product Team identifies and scales product opportunities across the emerging crypto, stablecoin, and blockchain network landscape. The team defines Visa's participation in the ecosystem and delivers capabilities that translate strategy into durable client and network value. We are looking for an experienced Director to lead the VSP Payment Orchestration product domain—the capability that routes, sequences, and settles stablecoin-based payments across Visa's network and connected exchange partners. This leader will help drive the vision, strategy, investment priorities, and business outcomes for the orchestration layer connecting VSP to the stablecoin ecosystem
The ideal candidate combines enterprise product strategy, commercial judgment, and technical fluency to shape platform architecture and integration choices at a functional level. This role will partner with senior client, ecosystem, and internal leaders to define scalable solutions, establish a multi-year product and investment roadmap, and align global teams around measurable outcomes. The Director will lead the full product lifecycle across a portfolio of initiatives, from market discovery and prioritization through technical integration, launch, commercialization, and post-launch optimization.
This role requires exceptional product judgment, disciplined portfolio execution, and the ability to lead through influence across product, engineering, design, operations, legal, risk, compliance, treasury, finance, sales, and regional teams. The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating ambiguity, making and escalating complex tradeoffs, presenting investment and product recommendations to executives, and establishing strong governance across multiple delivery teams. The Director will develop product talent, raise the quality of product management practices, and ensure AI tools are embedded responsibly in day-to-day work with appropriate human oversight, security, and quality controls.
Essential Functions
· Drive the vision, product strategy, multi-year roadmap, investment priorities, and business outcomes for the VSP Payment Orchestration domain, balancing client value, platform scalability, risk, and commercial objectives
· Translate Visa's crypto and stablecoin strategy into a coherent portfolio of prioritized investments, measurable goals, and executable plans across regions and delivery teams
· Own portfolio governance and executive reporting, including operating plans, capacity decisions, dependencies, risks, performance indicators, and recommendations requiring senior leadership decisions

· Partner with engineering and architecture executives to guide platform evolution, including API contracts, orchestration patterns, integration flows, resiliency, security, observability, reconciliation, and settlement across VSP and partner systems
· Establish product operating mechanisms for prioritization, release planning, readiness, user acceptance testing, risk acceptance, launch decisions, incident learning, and post-launch performance management
· Collaborate across Legal, Compliance, Treasury, Risk, Technology, Operations, Finance, Sales, and regional teams so solutions meet business, regulatory, operational, and technical objectives
· Represent Visa with senior clients, regulators where appropriate, and strategic partners; lead executive workshops and commercial or product negotiations and convert market needs into scalable platform capabilities
· Define and monitor product, client, operational, risk, and financial performance, including adoption, transaction performance, reliability, economics, control effectiveness, and client experience; use insights to direct investment and improvement
· Anticipate regulatory, legal, operational, competitive, and ecosystem developments affecting stablecoins, tokenized deposits, CBDCs, and blockchain networks, and adapt product strategy, market sequencing, and controls accordingly
· Shape commercialization and go-to-market strategy with product, pricing, sales, implementation, and client support leaders, enabling the transition from pilots to a repeatable, scalable global proposition
· Establish standards for the responsible use of AI in product discovery, research, requirements, testing, technical due diligence, and documentation, with appropriate human judgment, security, and quality controls
· Build and develop high-performing product talent, coach product managers and cross-functional leaders, and foster a culture of accountability, experimentation, inclusion, and continuous learning
