Assistant Director Product Owner - Pharmacy

Hybrid role (3 days/week in office) at our Salt Lake City, Boise, Fargo, Portland, Vancouver, Renton, Medford, Burlington, Lewiston, Little Rock and Springdale offices.

Preference will be given to current employees and candidates who reside within a commutable distance from our Salt Lake City, Boise, Fargo, Lewiston, Little Rock and Springdale offices or who are willing to relocate.

As a member of the Pharmacy team, our AD Product Management leads the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Pharmacy capabilities that support an integrated, affordable, and member-focused health care experience. This role leads Product Owners and partners across Pharmacy, Clinical Operations, Technology, Product, Analytics, Finance, and external partners to translate pharmacy priorities into executable roadmaps, strengthen end-to-end capabilities and integrations, and deliver measurable member, operational, and financial outcomes.

What You Bring to Cambia:

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, health care administration, clinical discipline, finance, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 6 years of experience in product management, health plan operations, healthcare, insurance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Attributes:

- Strong knowledge of pharmacy benefits, PBM operations, formulary or benefit administration, pharmacy clinical programs, or related health plan workflows
- Proven ability to translate pharmacy, clinical, operational, and regulatory needs into product strategy, roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, and measurable outcomes
- Experience leading cross-functional work across Pharmacy, Clinical Operations, Technology, Product, Analytics, Finance, and vendor partners
- Strong understanding of pharmacy benefit capabilities, data and system integrations, member and provider workflows, and vendor dependencies
- Strong business acumen with the ability to use financial, utilization, quality, member, and operational measures to guide prioritization and investment decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage senior leadership and stakeholders at all levels
- Skilled at navigating complex regulatory, operational, vendor, and technology dependencies while creating clarity and driving decisions
- Demonstrated success managing strategic relationships with PBMs, pharmacy vendors, or other external partners.
- Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity, analytics, clinical workflows, or decision-making highly desired

What You Will Do at Cambia:

- Own the Pharmacy product strategy and roadmap, aligning priorities to member needs, affordability, clinical outcomes, regulatory requirements, and enterprise goals
- Lead and develop Product Owners and team members, creating clear accountability for outcomes, priorities, and delivery
- Partner with pharmacy, business, and technology leaders to translate strategic and operational needs into prioritized capabilities, requirements, and executable work
- Oversee operational, benefit, process, data, integration, vendor, and systems changes required to support evolving Pharmacy capabilities
- Coordinate complex PBM and vendor dependencies, ensuring integrations, implementation activities, and operational readiness are aligned across teams
- Use financial, utilization, quality, member, and operational measures to evaluate performance, identify gaps, and guide continuous improvement
- Drive end-to-end readiness for pharmacy capabilities, including testing, implementation, regulatory readiness, issue resolution, and post-production stabilization
- Manage strategic vendor relationships and ensure partner capabilities, performance, contractual commitments, and roadmaps align with business needs

Pay ranges vary based on the candidate's work location. The expected hiring range depends on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history.

National pay structure — applies to the Boise and Lewiston, ID; Salt Lake City, UT, Oregon and Washington. The full salary range is $141,000 - $231,000 and the bonus target is 20%. The expected salary range is $150,500 - $203,600.

Regional pay structure — applies to North Dakota and Idaho and Utah locations outside the metro areas listed above: The full salary range is $127,000 - $208,000 and the bonus target is 20%. The expected salary range is $135,400 - $183,200.
