About this role

Get to Know Us

Horizon3 is a fast-growing, remote cybersecurity company dedicated to the mission of enabling organizations to proactively find and fix and verify exploitable attack vectors before criminals exploit them. Our flagship product, the NodeZeroTM platform, delivers production-safe autonomous pentests and other key assessment operations that scale across the largest internal, external, cloud, and hybrid cloud environments. NodeZero has been adopted by organizations of all sizes, from small educational institutions to government agencies and Global 100 enterprises. It is used by ITOps/SecOps teams, consulting pentesters, and MSSPs and MSPs.

We are a fusion of former U.S. Special Operations cyber operators, startup engineers, and formerly frustrated cybersecurity practitioners. We're committed to helping solve our common security problems: ineffective security tools, false positives resulting in alert fatigue, blind spots, "checkbox” security culture, cybersecurity skills shortage, and the long lead time and expense of hiring outside consultants. Collectively, we are a team of learn it alls, committed to a culture of respect, collaboration, ownership, and results.

What You’ll Do

We're looking for a Senior Marketing Operations Manager to own and scale the systems, processes, and data foundation that power Horizon3's go-to-market engine. This role sits at the center of Marketing, Sales, and RevOps, turning strategy into measurable pipeline and revenue impact.

You'll be a strategic operator and a hands-on builder. You will own the architecture and roadmap for our marketing tech stack, lead complex cross-functional projects from problem definition through rollout, and set the standards for how campaigns are built, tracked, and measured. You will work with a high degree of independence and be the person the team brings the hard problems to.

Marketing Systems & Technology

- Maintain and support the day-to-day operations and functional health of the marketing automation platform and its Salesforce integration, assisting with updates to segmentation, scoring, routing, nurturing, lifecycle workflows, and compliance tasks (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
- Assist in the evaluation, research, and rollout of new GTM tech stack tools, including supporting business case development, coordinating vendor logistics, and facilitating implementation steps for the team.
- Conduct routine audits, testing, and troubleshooting across the marketing tech stack to identify inefficiencies and help implement technical fixes designed by cross-functional leads.
- Execute data governance protocols to ensure data accuracy and consistency remain aligned across all integrated systems.
- Flag funnel conversion and handoff problems and drive the fixes across teams.

Campaign Operations

- Support campaign managers with program setup, pre-launch QA, and tracking validation to help ensure timely multi-channel launches.
- Help facilitate the day-to-day execution of ABM programs, assisting with account list uploads, segmentation updates, tool configuration, and reporting pulls.
- Monitor operational workflows for bottlenecks and assist the Senior Strategic Program Manager in deploying process tweaks that improve efficiency and accuracy.

Process, Automation & AI

- Support the maintenance and optimization of systems and automations that reduce manual work and help keep marketing data clean and actionable.
- Assist in researching and implementing AI agents or automated workflows identified by team leads to replace manual processes.

- Track emerging marketing technologies and AI tooling, sharing relevant insights and research with leadership to inform future recommendations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for workflows, SOPs, and system configurations, and support end-user training and enablement for the marketing team.
- Provide peer guidance and onboarding support to analysts and marketing operations teammates as needed.

Analytics & Reporting

- Partner with the Senior Marketing Analytics Manager on attribution, dashboards, and metric definitions, and make sure the systems capture what reporting needs.
- Monitor marketing data quality and troubleshoot issues across the GTM stack (Pardot, Salesforce, Chili Piper, etc.).
- Support attribution modeling and lead scoring initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Serve as an operations partner to Demand Generation, Sales, Finance, RevOps, and IT.
- Align cross-functionally on goals, definitions, and processes across the funnel.

What You’ll Bring

- 6+ years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, or a related role in B2B SaaS or technology.
- Expert, hands-on experience with marketing automation (Pardot or Marketo preferred) and Salesforce, including administering integrations between them.
- Track record of leading complex, cross-functional systems projects end to end, such as a lifecycle redesign, a scoring and routing overhaul, a platform migration, or an attribution rollout.
- Deep understanding of lead lifecycle management, scoring, routing, segmentation, and campaign tracking.
- Strong background in data management, analytics, and performance reporting.
- Experience operationalizing account-based marketing programs.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate workflows, solve problems, and improve team efficiency.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building processes where none exist.
- Able to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and get to a decision.
- Detail-oriented with a bias for action. You deliver accurate work quickly and own QA.

What Sets You Apart?

- Experience with the wider GTM stack, such as Chili Piper, Zuddl, RevSure, Nooks, Peerbound, Gainsight, Clay, Influ2, or Reachdesk.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) or working SQL.
- Experience in cybersecurity, highly technical B2B markets, or enterprise go-to-market motions.

What Success Looks Like

- Marketing data is accurate, trusted, and consistently used in decision-making.
- Systems and processes scale as the business grows, with a roadmap the team can see.
- Day-to-day marketing workflows run smoothly, and campaign owners launch faster with fewer errors.
- Campaign and funnel performance is transparent, measurable, and clearly tied to revenue outcomes.

Travel Required

This role may require minimal travel for internal offsites. Job-related travel expenses are reviewed and must be approved by your manager.
