Job Summary
The Manager of Analytics oversees the staff providing financial and operational decision support to clients and business associates while ensuring consistency and structure throughout the entire reporting and analytics team. This position will also focus on evaluating, developing and implementing impactful operational processes using high-level analytical thinking in tandem with expert-level reporting abilities.

Essential Functions
• DIRECT ANALYTICS WORK
-Oversee reporting functions to ensure reporting methodologies and processes remain consistent throughout the organization.
-Instruct team members on recognizing opportunities and weaknesses within organizational processes and influencing implementation of their effective solutions.
-Coordinate documentation of reporting requirements and client specifications.
• REPORTING AND ANALYTICAL WORK
-Focus on improving and automating report processing to include assessing various reporting tools, incorporating external reporting sources and implementing quality improvements.
-Utilize data to support ongoing company-wide strategic initiatives for the executive team.
• TEAM MANAGEMENT
-Direct members of the team to use effective strategies for retrieval, collection, interpretation, and reporting on company-specific and external data.
-Lead training and onboarding of new team members.
• RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
-Establish and maintain relationships with departmental leaders to help perfect internal processes and procedures.
-Act as liaison between reporting team and other departments within the organization.
-Partner with Account Managers/Executives to deliver reporting and recommendations to key clients.
Qualifications
• 6+ years related work experience. Experience Details: business analytics, data analysis and healthcare operations.
• 2+ years direct supervisory/management experience
• Related Bachelor's degree required Business, Engineering, Math, Computer Science or MIS
Additional Required Qualifications
• Comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated proficiency working with Microsoft Excel, Access, VBA, Crystal Reports, T-SQL, SSMS, SSRS and healthcare claims data.
• Detailed knowledge of healthcare-specific data, healthcare business operations, healthcare terminology and product components supporting health benefit plans.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated competency working and communicating across all operational areas within the organization.
• Comfortable communicating directly with vendors and clients.
• Can appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet multiple deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Strong team player, with ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
• Strong ability to translate business needs directly into solutions using data and technology
• Comfortable using many sources of data to generate solutions for internal and external clients
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to assess problems/issues and offer workable solutions
General Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences). Occasionally
