PrideStaff Financial is partnering with a real estate business in Roseville, CA who is seeking a Legal Coordinator. The Legal Coordinator will provide critical administrative and operational support in managing property-related legal matters, insurance administration, and regulatory compliance. Working under the guidance of senior legal/insurance team members, this temporary role assists in tracking injury claims, unlawful detainers, and complaints filed under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and ready to immediately collaborate with external legal counsel, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders to keep all active matters moving forward smoothly.

Responsibilities: Assist in logging, tracking, and maintaining complete case files for incoming legal actions, property injury claims, unlawful detainers, and Civil Rights Department (CRD)/FEHA complaints. Maintain the centralized case management database, ensuring accurate tracking of key dates, court deadlines, action items, and follow-ups. Help collect and organize insurance documentation, verify active portfolio coverage, track policy renewal dates, file certificates of insurance (COIs), and confirm premium invoice processing. Organize and archive legal correspondence, notices, pleadings, and insurance forms in accordance with company confidentiality standards and record-retention policies. Act as a responsive point of contact for internal teams, property managers, outside counsel, insurance adjusters, and regulatory agency inquiries as directed. Gather data and assist in preparing regular open-claim reports for senior leadership; conduct basic research on legal matters, policies, and housing regulations. Partner closely with peer legal and insurance staff to maintain consistent workflows and provide seamless administrative coverage during this interim period.

Required Qualifications Associate degree, Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution, or 1–2 years of experience in a legal support, paralegal, or real estate administrative role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Basic familiarity with legal terminology, court/claims procedures, property management, or housing law basics.
Prior experience with unlawful detainers (evictions), property insurance claims, or fair housing/CRD complaints. Experience utilizing real estate or property management software (e.g., Yardi) and legal case management tools is a plus.
Ability to multi-task, keep detailed logs, and prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills across internal departments and external partners.
