Description
Join the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Translations, Education, and Development (TED) team as a WHS Career Development admin focused on supporting our WHS career development programs through meticulous evaluation and continuous improvement. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and effectiveness of training materials that support training conformance. You will work collaboratively across stakeholder groups to review training requirements, evaluate existing content, and process intakes to ensure our professional development program requirements are shared accurately with our learners.

You will serve as a key coordinator in our training development process, ensuring that all developmental programs meet quality standards and deliver maximum value. Your ability to communicate clearly, take ownership of projects, and build trust with stakeholders will be essential to success in this dynamic environment.
Key job responsibilities
-Transform raw training requirements into clear documentation and functional specifications while ensuring accuracy and alignment with adult learning principles
-Drive the evaluation and maintenance of the training catalogue, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring consistent quality across all safety learning materials
-Coordinate across departments to gather feedback, manage intakes, and ensure training materials meet operational needs
-Establish appropriate milestones and timelines for training review cycles, managing the process from intake to implementation
-Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues before they impact training delivery
About the team
The Translations, Education, and Development (TED) team is part of the Worldwide Ergonomics and Safety Experience (WESE) team. TED supports WHS career development through the Growing Leaders in Development and Education (GLIDE) program.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
- Experience in business analysis and functional roles requiring quantitative, analytical and organizational skills, including intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups)
- Experience with data analysis and basic Excel skills
- Experience with Microsoft office tools like Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneNote, or experience with computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Experience using Microsoft Projects software
- Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams
