1. ROLE PURPOSE
Lead the regional HSM team to develop and execute integrated regional healthcare environment strategies . Drive hospital-level environment improvement and healthcare policy shaping to improve patient access and enable sustainable business growth.
2. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Regional Environment Strategy & Prioritization
Develop regional environment strategies and priorities based on healthcare policy, hospital dynamics, patient access needs and business impact, ensuring alignment between regional business needs and Environment Excellence Platform priorities.
2. Hospital Environment Improvement
Lead systematic assessment and prioritization of hospital-level environment opportunities and barriers, and guide the HSM team to develop and execute differentiated solutions for priority hospitals. Monitor outcomes, capture best practices and drive replication across the region .
3. Innovation & Business Enablement
Explore, pilot and scale innovative platforms, models and solutions through cross-functional collaboration to address evolving hospital challenges and enable brand preference and business value creation.
4. Policy Shaping
Drive local policy shaping through the HSM team and close cross-functional collaboration, while taking ownership of assigned national policy advocacy priorities .
5. Cross-functional Integration & Leadership
Serve as the key regional integrator for healthcare environment priorities , connecting Sales Directors and Regional Sales Managers with PF, Market Access, Medical, Local Marketing, Tender and other functions to build alignment and drive collective impact .
6. People & Capability Leadership
Lead, coach and develop the HSM team ; strengthen environment-shaping capabilities, foster knowledge sharing and build an accountable, collaborative and innovative team culture .
3. CANDIDATE PROFILE
1. Relevant Experience
Solid experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, preferably in anti-infectives , with demonstrated understanding of the healthcare environment and its impact on patient access and business.
2. Environment & Policy Experience
Proven experience in healthcare environment shaping, hospital management or healthcare policy initiatives, with experience across multiple provinces or regions .
3. Strategic & Business Thinking
Strong strategic thinking and business judgment, with the ability to connect policy and hospital environment changes with patient access and business implications , and translate insights into clear priorities and actions .
4. Leadership & Influence
Demonstrated ability to lead teams or complex cross-functional initiatives , influence stakeholders without direct authority, and drive alignment and execution across different functions and organizational levels.
5. Innovation, AI & Digital Mindset
Strong learning agility and openness to innovation, with the ability to effectively leverage AI and digital tools in day-to-day work and explore their application to healthcare environment challenges and business opportunities.
6. Actionable Attitudes
Demonstrate strong alignment with company Actionable Attitudes , particularly Challenge Convention, Embrace Uncertainty and Rise Above .
7. Education & Language
Bachelor’s degree or above. Strong English reading and written communication skills , with the ability to develop professional business materials in English.
