About this role
The Licensing and Onboarding Manager leads the end-to-end professional licensing, pre-boarding, and onboarding function across American Hospital Dubai. The role ensures healthcare professionals are processed in accordance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) licensing requirements and that clinical, administrative, support, leadership, and international hires complete all pre-employment and joining requirements accurately and on time.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Management, or a related discipline; Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Professional HR certification such as CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent is preferred.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of six (6) to ten (10) years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least three (3) years in healthcare licensing, onboarding, credentialing support, HR operations, or a related supervisory/managerial role.
- Demonstrated experience managing DHA licensing processes for healthcare professionals and coordinating DataFlow PSV, assessments, registration, activation, renewal, cancellation, and complex licensing cases.
- Strong experience managing high-volume onboarding and international mobilization, including visas, travel, housing, pre-employment medicals, insurance, employee documentation, orientation, and joining readiness.
- Experience supervising a team, managing operational KPIs and service levels, preparing management reports, resolving escalated candidate/employee cases, and leading process improvement or digitalization initiatives.
- Experience within a tertiary, multi-site, or JCI-accredited healthcare organization is highly preferred, with exposure to physician, nursing, allied health, administrative, support, senior leadership, and executive onboarding.
