Diesel Tech Apprentice Opportunity - 60 - 80K DOE
Green Ford is seeking a Diesel Apprentice Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong desire to learn, assimilate into our team and some basic understanding of diesel engines, and general mechanics. Responsibilities:
- Perform work as taught / specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership training
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose as taught, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications as taught
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a positive, friendly attitude.
- Maintain a "Team Player" attitude
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
