Support Store Manager in the implementation of initiatives and achievement of goals and objectives, with a focus on Stock and Back of House Operations.
What you can expect:
Assist with creating a shopping experience through the effective organization of the back-of-house areas and merchandise flow onto the sales floor.
Ensure the timely processing of all shipments, transfers, damages, supplies, and the overall organization of stock areas.
Partner with the store management team on Loss Prevention awareness within the store.
Ensure that merchandise is processed timely and available for the replenishment on the sales floor and available for the sales staff.
Records delivery of merchandise, compares record with merchandise ordered, and reports discrepancies to control costs and maintain correct inventory levels.
Inspects merchandise to ensure it is correctly priced and displayed.
Assist in the implementation of Health & Safety policy and operational procedures utilizing training and guidance provided to support store management within this area.
Comply with Occupational Health & Safety requirements at all time.
May hold store keys and regularly participates in store opening and closing functions.
Your profile:
Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required : HS Diploma required or equivalent experience.
Minimum Experience required: 2-3 year of stock experience.
Skills Required:
- Effective time management skills, and a proven ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle merchandise, place merchandise, ship and receive product.
- Ability to work with retail operating systems, handle the PC and scanning equipment.
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor and stock rooms for extended period of time in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to contribute to an effective and productive team/work environment.
