About this role

At Nozzle, we're helping ship owners and managers simplify compliance, vessel operations, HSEQ, procurement, crew management, planned maintenance, and SIRE 2.0 inspections through one integrated maritime platform.

As part of our growth journey, we are now looking for a commercially driven Sales Lead to expand our presence in the UK market and drive new business growth within the tanker segment.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of Nozzle's commercial growth in one of the maritime industry's most important markets.

You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship building to commercial negotiations and contract signing. The role focuses on tanker owners, ship managers and vetting stakeholders, where increasing regulatory requirements and the introduction of SIRE 2.0 are driving demand for modern digital solutions.

Working closely with the leadership team, you will play a key role in growing Nozzle's customer base and strengthening our position within the UK maritime market.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities within the tanker segment
- Build and maintain relationships with tanker owners, ship managers, technical superintendents, vetting managers and procurement teams
- Translate vetting, compliance and regulatory requirements into compelling business cases
- Manage a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
- Deliver software demonstrations and customer presentations
- Represent Nozzle at industry events, conferences and networking activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success and long-term growth
- Gather market intelligence and provide insight into customer needs and industry trends

Who We Are Looking For

You are a commercially driven sales professional with strong maritime industry knowledge and a proven ability to win new business.

Ideally, you have:

- A strong and relevant network within the UK tanker and vetting community
- Experience selling software or SaaS solutions
- Deep understanding of tanker operations, vetting processes and SIRE 2.0
- A documented track record of achieving sales targets and closing complex deals
- Experience managing long enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- The ability to work independently while building trusted customer relationships

Experience from maritime software providers, classification societies, ship management companies or marine assurance organisations will be considered an advantage.

Location

This position is remote. Candidates do not need to be based in the UK but must have a well-established network and experience within the UK tanker and vetting market and be willing to travel regularly for customer meetings and industry events.

Interested?

We would love to hear from you. Apply today and help shape the future of maritime compliance and operational excellence with Nozzle.
