CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver – Chicago, IL
Drive dedicated intermodal routes based in Chicago, with runs throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, and Indiana. Enjoy daily home time, day or night shift options, and a mix of drop-and-hook and live-load freight.
Pay Details
- Weekly Pay Range: $1,200–$1,400
- No bonus offered
- No short-haul pay
- No stop pay
Job Details
- Dedicated intermodal freight
- Routes throughout Chicago and surrounding areas, including WI, MI, IA, and IN
- Mix of drop-and-hook, live loads, and live unloads
- Heavy drop-and-hook activity at night
- Out-of-state runs while returning home daily
- Expect Chicago-area traffic

- Schedule and start times should be confirmed during hiring
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- First-seat, experienced drivers required
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
