Our dynamic engineering team is looking for a Staff Full Stack Engineer to architect, build, and scale complex, data-driven web applications. In this role, you will play a key technical leadership role—building robust microservices, designing cloud-native architectures, and delivering fast, intuitive user experiences.

We operate in a modern tech environment utilizing a Python backend, React frontend, and AWS infrastructure, handling massive datasets at scale. We are seeking a senior, hands-on engineer who combines deep engineering fundamentals with modern toolsets to deliver high-impact, production-grade software.

What You'll Do

- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of scalable backend microservices, database schemas, and advanced frontend infrastructures.
- Drive system architecture decisions, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability across AWS cloud environments.
- Write clean, maintainable, and high-performing code across both backend (Python) and frontend (React, TypeScript) stacks.
- Utilize AI-assisted development workflows (such as Claude Code) effectively to accelerate delivery while strictly adhering to high standards of code quality, testing, and architecture.
- Partner closely with product managers, data analysts, architects, and QA engineers to deliver complex, cross-company initiatives.
- Take end-to-end ownership of horizontal group projects and mentor team members on best engineering practices.

Qualifications

- A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience in building and scaling complex web applications.
- A strong backend engineering foundation with extensive hands-on experience in Python, web frameworks, ORMs, system design, and relational/non-relational databases.
- Solid experience with modern frontend tech stacks, specifically JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native application deployment and management.
- Proven experience working with Claude Code (or similar AI software development tools) as a power-user—combining high output velocity with strong engineering discipline (no "vibe coding"; we value deep code comprehension, rigorous review, and robust architecture).
- A demonstrated ability to design distributed systems, microservices, and high-throughput data flows.
- A self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership and a track record of driving significant technical impact.
