About this role
Assist welders, fitters, fabricators, and other maintenance personnel in daily fabrication activities.
Assist in the loading, unloading, shifting, lifting, and positioning of MS and SS pipes, plates, structural materials, and equipment.
Perform rigging activities using approved lifting tools and accessories such as slings, shackles, chain blocks, and lifting belts.
Assist in the erection, installation, alignment, and dismantling of piping, supports, structures, and mechanical equipment.
Support fabrication work by arranging materials, holding components, and assisting with pipe fit-up and positioning.
Handle and arrange fabrication materials, tools, welding machines, and accessories safely.
Assist in the installation of MS and SS pipelines, pipe supports, brackets, and structural components.
Follow instructions from supervisors, fitters, welders, and fabrication engineers.
Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and approved work permits during fabrication, lifting, and installation activities.
Follow GMP and contamination-control requirements when working in pharmaceutical production and controlled areas.
