Pyramid Healthcare is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our team in Concord, NC. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment in a structured, therapeutic environment.

We are looking for candidates with open availability who can work a variety of shifts as needed , including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct client care, monitors client safety, supports daily activities, and helps maintain a structured and therapeutic treatment environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, and committed to providing compassionate, client-centered support throughout the recovery process.

Schedule & Pay

- Employment Status: Full-Time

- Availability: Open availability required; flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

- Pay Range: $16.00–$18.50 per hour, based on experience

- Location: Concord, NC

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor clients to promote safety and compliance with program expectations.

- Assist with client admissions and intake procedures as needed.

- Conduct routine rounds and document client observations accurately.

- Support clients with daily living activities and other needs as appropriate.

- Observe and document client self-administration of medication in accordance with facility policies.

- Respond appropriately to behavioral and emotional crises, utilizing de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques as trained.

- Maintain accurate client records and complete required documentation.

- Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly treatment environment.

- Provide transportation for clients when needed and authorized.

- Maintain appropriate therapeutic boundaries and professional conduct.

- Collaborate with the treatment team to support client progress and program goals.

- Attend required training and participate in ongoing staff development.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required, or ability to obtain upon hire.

Experience & Requirements

- Previous experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or direct care preferred.

- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record required.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

- Ability to follow facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
