Salary: £14.80 (London Living Wage) plus 15% Bonus

Are you passionate about photography and ready to turn your enthusiasm into a dynamic role? As one of our sales associates, your role will be key in helping the business to achieve sales targets whilst delivering outstanding customer service. Your role as a sales associate would consist of time on the shop floor, capturing the enjoyment of interacting with customers and natural selling skills are crucial to the role.

All our Team Members need flexibility in their available hours; this includes weekends, bank holidays and working additional hours at our busiest trading times surround winter peak.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

Driving sales: Help customers find their perfect photography products and services.

Customer Interaction: Engaging with customers, photographers and creatives to understand their needs and recommend the best solution to match their requirements.

Product Knowledge within Photo & Video: Engaging with customers to ensure they understand and interact with branded areas during the shopping journey.

Organisation: Maintenance of the display presence, cleanliness & demo-ready capability of all products & services

Upselling: Actively sell up through the range by focusing on key customer requirements and presenting a total solution with a focus on KPIs

Standards: Maintaining store standards as set by the management team.

Understanding the industry and brand: Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and keeping up to date with our own and understanding of other brands.

Service: Providing excellent service in all areas at House of Photography.

What we are looking for:

Sales and Retail Savvy: Proven ability to sell effectively and create persuasive pitches.

Photography / Print & Film Knowledge: A strong understanding of the industry

Communication expert: flagship interpersonal and communication skills.

Customer Service Focus : Focus on providing customers with an industry leading customer service and influence.

Initiative and ownership: Take the lead and make an impact in a fast-paced retail environment.

Team Player: Collaborate effectively within our exceptional team and building relationships.

Punctuality: Maintain a good attendance record.

A flexible approach to working hours: Including weekends and busy times.

Eligibility to work in the UK is a must.

Mandarin language skills are desirable, to support our diverse customer base.
