About this role
About us
At Davy, it’s the unique talents of all our people that have been the foundations of our success for 100 years. As we continue to grow, so do you. Because you are not just part of our team – you are a key player in shaping our future.
At Davy, you are the difference.
Established in 1926, the Davy Group sits at the heart of wealth and capital in Ireland, providing a broad range of services to high-net-worth individuals, self-directed investors, small-to-medium enterprises, credit unions, corporations, and domestic & international institutional investors.
Our culture is shaped around three values, which are at the heart of everything we do: client success, one Davy, and building a proud legacy. Sharing the same goals, we work together to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. As part of a team of over 900, you will be encouraged to learn and to grow, both professionally and personally.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Adviser to join Davy's newly established Affluent business, supporting clients with increasingly complex financial needs who require ongoing financial planning and advice to build, protect, and transfer wealth.
This is a unique opportunity to help build a next-generation wealth proposition that combines personalised financial advice with market-leading digital tools and client experiences. Working with a diverse portfolio of affluent clients, you will help individuals, families and corporates work through bespoke financial planning led investment, protection and pension journeys.
Unlike traditional private client advisory roles, this position operates within a technology-enabled advice model, allowing advisers to focus more of their time on client engagement, financial planning and business development. Advisers will utilise advanced digital financial planning and client engagement tools to deliver high-quality advice at scale while playing an active role in shaping the future evolution of the proposition.
The successful candidate will:
- Build trusted relationships with affluent clients, understanding their financial objectives, personal circumstances and long-term goals.
- Convert referral opportunities into new business through effective advice conversations and relationship management.
- Deliver holistic financial advice across investments, pensions, retirement and protection solutions.
- Develop and present financial plans using Davy's digital financial planning platform and client engagement tools.
- Eventually manage a portfolio of approximately 300 clients, ensuring clients receive an appropriate level of proactive service and advice.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through referrals and lead generation opportunities.
- Partner closely with Bank of Ireland, Davy and wider Group colleagues to maximise referral opportunities and deliver joined-up client outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and broaden the range of solutions provided to clients.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the Affluent proposition by providing feedback on client journeys, advice processes and technology capabilities.
- Support the development of a scalable and efficient operating model as the business grows.
- Work collaboratively with product, proposition, technology and operations teams to improve client and adviser experiences.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements, Davy's Risk Management Framework and internal policies.
- Take ownership of client outcomes and proactively resolve issues while identifying opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
What Will Make You Stand Out?
You are passionate about helping clients achieve better financial outcomes and enjoy building long-term trusted relationships. You combine strong technical financial planning knowledge with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
You are comfortable operating in a dynamic and evolving environment and are excited by the opportunity to help build a new business within one of Ireland's leading wealth management firms.
You may currently be working as:

You are naturally curious, commercially minded and committed to ongoing professional development.
