Housekeeper

Merakey is currently seeking a Full Time Housekeeper (8hrs per day) to join our Behavioral Health Services Division in our Bethlehem, PA location .

POSITION DETAILS

Shift: 1st- full time

Pay: $16.50

Position summary or overview. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

- To sweep, mop, wax, dust, vacuum, and other general cleaning tasks all floors

- To scrub and disinfect toilet doors daily and clean drinking fountains, urinals, toilet bowls, and other fixtures daily using such materials as will keep them in a clean and sanitary condition.

- Wash all windows on both the inside at least twice each year.

- To report immediately any damage to property giving, whenever possible, the names of persons responsible.

- Participates in MERAKEY Human Services quality improvement/quality assurance activities.

- Attends all required MERAKEY and DPW training. Receives 12 hours of training annually.

- Interacts with residents in a professional and solution focused manner

- Perform other duties as directed by the Program Administrator.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

- Mental Health experience is preferred.

- Must be at 21 years of age or older

- Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.

- Valid drivers license and clean driving record are required
