Job Description:

- POSITION SUMMARY : Responsible for supporting project site equipment maintenance through efficient parts management, inventory control, shipping and receiving activities, and transportation.

- ### ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide parts support to the field mechanic and job site

- Manage parts inventory and maintain accurate inventory records at the job site.

- Pull requested parts from inventory and issue parts to mechanics and project teams.

- Receive, inspect, unload and stock incoming parts, materials, and supplies

- Coordinate and expediate shipping and receiving activities to meet project and maintenance schedules.

- Safely operate a company vehicle/truck to transport parts between company locations, project sites, and vendor facilities as needed.

- Communicate with vendors, mechanics, project personnel, and internal customers regarding parts availability and delivery timelines.

- Keep work area clean and presentable

- Answer and make phone calls that deal with parts orders

- Inform Parts Manager of any parts issues

- ### EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :
High School diploma or equivalent required

- 5+ years of parts and/or equipment knowledge

- Equipment knowledge preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong sense of urgency

- Ability to meet strict deadlines
