Overview
The Senior Product Manager, Work Vehicle Solutions, is responsible for deeply understanding end users, customers, channels, and the work they need to accomplish; identifying unmet needs, pain points, and barriers; and translating those insights into differentiated products, service, application, and commercial solutions. All portfolio decisions and business activities must be grounded in solving meaningful customer problems, improving the end-user experience, and enabling the organization to serve customers more effectively.
This individual translates business strategy, customer needs, market opportunities, and technical requirements into a prioritized and executable product portfolio. Serving as the business owner for assigned product categories and strategic initiatives, the Senior Product Manager leads work from opportunity identification, customer validation, and business case development through product development, commercialization, lifecycle management, and financial performance.
The role requires broad leadership across Product, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Care, and external partners. The Senior Product Manager establishes priorities, clarifies customer and business requirements, identifies risks and dependencies, recommends resource and portfolio trade-offs, and ensures cross-functional teams remain aligned around the customer problem to solve and the business outcome to achieve.
Success requires more than developing product strategy. The Senior Product Manager must be able to convert customer insight into clear requirements and executable solutions, move complex initiatives from idea to implementation, balance transformational projects with ongoing customer and business needs, and maintain accountability for scope, timing, readiness, financial performance, customer experience, service, and market adoption.
