About this role
The Materials Management Department (MMD) is seeking a customer-focused Travel & Visa Coordinator in Samoa. This position is fixed term full-time for one (1) year reporting to the Travel & Visa Supervisor.
- 6 years of any combination of related experience or progress towards or completion of a relevant university (post-secondary) degree or an industry-recognized certification.
- Minimum of 2 years in Church travel services.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve difficult travel issues.
- Must be able to work at a high rate of efficiency and take on a large workload including special projects
- Professional and clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications
- Ability to motivate and lead others
- Role model of professional behavior and excellent performance for travel and visa coordinators
Preferred
- 3 years in Church travel services experience.
- Travel University specialis t certification (or country equivalent).
- English proficiency.
- Proof of legal right to work in Samoa.
- Police background check may be required.
